Sounds perfect to me. TV's probably more interesting than watching me cook unless you're on the infomercial channel, though.

Shuji makes a high-pitched noise like a kettle and covers his face with his hands.]

Mistaaaa why are you like thiiiis...

[He can't possibly uncover his bright red face right now, even if Mista undoubtedly knows how flustered he is.]

[In his agony, perhaps Shuji will not notice Mista stealing a corner of his pancake.]

Still not sorry.

[He absolutely won't notice food theft, he has better priorities like Mista being terrible.]

How are you the one saying that to me anyway? It's completely unfair when you walk around with - with crop tops, and tight pants, and how am I not supposed to stare at you?

[That does shut him up for a moment. But only for a moment.]

I thought you didn't like my crop tops? But really you've been staring this whole time, huh . . .

I mean, I don't really like the colors you pick for them, but...

[Shuji gulps, before setting a hand softly on Mista's exposed stomach.]

It's kind of hard not to look...

[Oh. He jumps a little before stilling and looking at Shuji sort of--wonderingly? His hand is very warm.]

[He needs a moment to figure out more words than that.]

I didn't notice you looking. Guess I probably should've.

I'm not really that subtle...

[Everyone else noticed in like, five seconds.]

I guess I was too busy looking at you to notice you looking at me.

[Mista, stop trying to be smooth and just admit you're dumb.]

You only look at me because you can't look at yourself. Like...

[Shuji's hands hover for a second.]

...I was going to touch your butt but I don't know if I can work up the nerve.

[Oh, god. Mista bites his lip in a very earnest attempt not to laugh. It's funny, though. The announcement, not the nerves.]

That's okay. It's not going anywhere. You can touch it whenever.

...And it won't be weird and uncomfortable? I mean, you can touch my butt, that's fine, but...

[Shuji, Shuji please.]

Shuji.

[Babe. Please. Mista solemnly takes both of Shuji's hands in his own. He looks deeply into his eyes.]

You can touch wherever you want. It isn't gonna be weird. Like I said, I'm real into you, so I don't think you need to worry about it.

Okay. ...Okay.

[By the power of determination, Shuji takes one of his hands out of Mista's and touches Mista's butt.]

[Let the record state that it isn't weird and it isn't uncomfortable. Mista doesn't even jump this time. For one thing he was prepared for it, and for another it's less--surprising? Than having someone just touch your stomach in the middle of breakfast. Not that he minded.]

[He doesn't mind this time either. Just hums a little and pushes forward onto his knuckles to kiss Shuji in a less good-morning or you're-cute way than an I-like-that way. Kisses are nuanced things in their way.]

Yep, [he says when he pulls away, grinning.] Still real into you. Even a little more now, maybe.

How would you rate your butt-touching experience, huh?

[Kisses are complicated, and Shuji is learning to interpret Mista's kisses differently. It might take a while. He might have to be kissed a bunch more times.]

Ten out of ten, would touch again.

[Though now he just wraps his arms around Mista instead.]

[Shuji hugs are really comforting. Maybe the best hugs ever. Mista kisses him again, because he just wants to.]

[And here he stumbles briefly, because he was going to say something else but he chickens out and ends up with:] Like me.

Really? That's good, because I like how much I like you.

[He takes the opportunity to sneak another piece of bacon. Technically he doesn't have to sneak it, he made it, but. It's more fun when it's sneaked. Snuck?]

It's 'cause you're hot. [Which he is going to say in his out loud voice, since apparently Shuji's just as dense as he is sometimes.]
