Proficiency with scythes as weapons
Fluency in Japanese, Tokyo and Tsugaru dialects.
Drinking ink will heal any wounds he has. The larger the wound, the more ink required. Wounds won't heal the normal way anymore.
As a spirit rather than a flesh-and-blood person, he can go inside of books and interact with the world and characters there. This does not change the text of the book itself, and characters are never cognizant of their status as a fictional character.
As a book spirit takes damage, their tether to reality weakens. Physical damage causes mental instability, and an already unstable mind makes the spirit corrode more quickly. Past a certain point of corrosion, they descend too deeply into madness and can't function (especially in battle) until they're healed. Past that point, they fall apart into nothing but ink and have to be summoned again. In Recolle terms, this would be a standard death.
