Week 3, Monday: Monika.
[It was hard not to notice Monika's change of wardrobe. Dazai had almost spoken to her about it at breakfast, but his nerve failed him.
It was better discussed in private. Not everyone published all of their own worst coping mechanisms.
Not surprisingly, when Dazai does find Monika by herself, it's in the library reading a book. He clears his throat to draw her attention away from the text.]
